How does it work?
Desobody and desoface contain deoxycholic acid which is FDA approved to break down fat. The deoxycholic acid destroys the fat cell membrane, the fat is then broken down and naturally removed by the body’s lymphatic system.
What areas can be treated?
Lipolytic injections are ideal for small areas of stubborn fat, that persist even when the patient is at a healthy weight. Commonly treated areas include the jowl and chin, back and bra rolls, lower abdomen, hips, inner thighs etc.

Who is best suited to Lipolytic treatments?
Patients who are otherwise healthy, eating well and exercising are ideal candidates. Once the fat cell is destroyed, if a healthy lifestyle is maintained it will not return. The Lipolytic itself is not able to tighten loose or lax skin, and so it is important that the area injected is true fat rather than skin laxity.
How many treatments are needed?
At least 3-4 sessions, 6 weeks apart are required to effectively treat an area of stubborn fat. Each session may require 2-4 vials depending on the size of the area treated.
How long will it take to see results?
Fat reduction following Lipolytic injection is gradual. Results are noticeable from 2-3 weeks following the first treatment. However at least 3-4 treatments are required to effectively destroy fat cells.
How long will results last for?
Once the fat cells are destroyed, they will not return unless the patient gains weight, stimulating fat deposition. Treatment can therefore be permanent.
